My Daughter

So, I have a two year old daughter.

I don’t know how many times I have looked at her in amazement just knowing I am legally able to introduce her to others as my daughter.
My family and friends have already opened their hearts and arms to her since she first arrived in our lives. So they have always considered her my daughter for a long time. No need to explain anything to them.
But I was always nervous about meeting new people and having to explain everything. One thing leads to another. And they keep asking questions. Extremely uncomfortable for me especially when I am so shy.
But NOW, no explanation is needed. She is my daugther. Period. No more, “I am fostering her in hopes that one day she will be my daughter”.

She is my daughter.  🙂

Until next time,
